What I managed to get done at my last quilting retreat. December 12, 2018 15:04

I did a retreat not very long ago and got a few things finished. Retreats are great for this exact reason. That said retreat are great for other reasons. Getting together with other like minded ladies. Another thing I love about retreats is that you can work on something that maybe is a little out of your comfort zone, and there will be someone else there that has done that and can help you get going.

This quilt pattern is called Brinton Hall it was from Quilt mania Magazine. I did not do the last border, I choose to put on this beautiful fabric Jardin de Versailles by French General. You can find this border fabric and the rest of the line in my store.

After I finished working on this quilt. I started working on a sample for the store I am still not finished it but got a lot of it done. I still have the Borders to finish and put on.

This is not my pattern I got it from Missouri Star Quilts, the pattern is called Twist and Shout. The fabrics that I used are Zuma by Tula Pink, and you can find this fabric in my store.

I had a little left over, enough to come up with a set of placemats I finished the top of them but as of yet had not had time to quilt them. I am waiting for the holidays so that I can put them into the machine. I can only hope that I can do this.

I hope that this has give you a little inspiration, and that maybe you will try going to a Quilt retreat.

 Happy Quilting and Sewing
